SENIOR PLANNING LOUNGE
WELCOME!!
Thank you so much for considering me for your Senior Portrait session! I look forward to getting to know you better and working with you to have an amazing, fun, senior session! Take a look around and learn more as you plan out your session!
01
WHERE?
One of the first things to think about as you plan for your session is where you might want to go. Do you love downtown? Do you like new/clean backgrounds or old, "grungy" backdrops for your session? Are you more of a nature lover? Want a studio? Think about how your personality will shine best!
02
WHEN?
When do you want to have your session? Do you like the warmth of summer? Cooler, crisp, days of fall? Want awesome golden sunlight for your session? Or would you rather have fall leaves?
JUNE-AUGUST
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT SUMMER SESSIONS
Summer sessions always seem to be so relaxed. you're out of school, the days are long, and the slight cool of the evening allows for very comfortable sessions.
SEPTEMBER-MID OCTOBER
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT EARLY FALL SESSIONS
Early fall sessions allow us to run on the adrenaline and excitement of all the "new" that is your senior year. These sessions are on weekends only so you can still enjoy the day without worrying about rushing out after school to get ready, plus it is usually a little cooler than summer sessions.
LATE OCTOBER-NOVEMBER
WHAT I LOVE ABOUT LATE FALL SESSIONS
If you're holding out hope for amazing fall colors in your session, this is the time for you! I love these sessions because it is COLD OUT. If you don't know me, I do NOT do well in warm weather!

WHAT TO WEAR?
My biggest piece of advice here... go for what makes you comfortable! Senior sessions are a great excuse to go out shopping for new outfits, find things that fit you and your personality. I can always tell which outfit a senior wants to be wearing for their session, and what outfit they were told to wear ;-)
THE NICE ONE
Pick out something that looks great. Something you would wear again... yeah, like the dress or fancy jumpsuit. Guys, we're talking button down shirt or maybe a sweater!
THE COMFY ONE
Find something that looks good on you and that you'd be willing to wear to school. Romper, sun dress, or shorts and a fun top. Guys, think jeans and a nice t-shirt.
THE FUN ONE
How are you best remembered? Are you obsessed with the Buckeyes? Do you have a favorite show or musician? Something that speaks to who you are... don't let it be cringe-y, though.

WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR HANDS?!
No joke! I hear this question ALL. THE. TIME. Don't worry. As you're getting into the flow of your session, this will quickly become a thing of the past. Sessions are fun, they're meant to be! Plus, if you wanted to look rigid, you'd just use the picture from Lifetouch they took for your school ID! But seriously, look at Pinterest or Instagram and see what you like, we might not copy it, but it'll help you and I know what you like!
